Welcome to our website with the story and photos of our Austria & Croatia 2017 Mission Trip with BSSM. Please scroll along and see the places we have visited and the wonderful people we have been blessed to meet and minister the love of God to. Find lots of photos and details of each visit on the Blog page link.

Our trip was 12 days from March 30th to April 10th. We flew from San Francisco to Munich and then to our first stop, Vienna. From Vienna we took the train to Salzburg. From Salzburg we took another train through the Alps to Zagreb in Croatia. We were in each city about 3-4 days ministering to churches in each city.

The photo at the top of the page is our view from the H.O.M.E. Mission Base house located in the Old Town of Salzburg. You can see the Hohensalzburg Castle on the hill and the Salzach River that flows from the Alps through the heart of Salzburg. The building behind us is the Winter Palace of Prince Eugene in Vienna.

Austria, the Heart of Europe

This is the Winter Palace of Prince Eugene in Vienna. It is a beautiful building but the history has not always been beautiful. However, God is changing all that and we were blessed to be a small part of what He is doing in this wonderful nation.

A few days before we left home I, Henry,  was asking the Lord why He gave us this trip to Austria & Croatia as it was our second choice, Germany was our first pick for this mission trip. God gave me an image, more like an impression, of the country of Austria like a sponge in His hands. He squeezed out the last of Austria’s tears and then put the country into the stream of His Living Water.

God told me that Germany was not the heart of Europe, that Austria was the heart of Europe and that is why He wanted us here, as a team, to help bring revival to all of Europe. I was blessed to release this word to both churches in Vienna and the church in Salzburg. I found out while I was in Austria that Cindy Jacobs had declared that Austria is the heart of Europe several years ago.

We found this interesting video below that gives a 7 minute overview of the history of Austria beginning in 1282AD.

About Our Team

We were part of an 18 member Missions Team from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry during the Spring 2017 outreach to Austria and Croatia. We visited the cities of Vienna and Salzburg in Austria and Zegreb, Croatia.

Our team was multi-generational which we discovered was a blessing to the churches. We had such wonderful team unity. Everyone showed love and preference for each other. Our team leaders, Angie and Ryan, were amazing and certainly were used by the Lord to make our trip such a huge blessing to those we visited.

We were so blessed to have Anna Schritti (middle top photo) with us as part of our ministry team while we were in Vienna. Anna was one of our interns during BSSM 1st Year serving with the team of Libby Gordon. She lives about an hour west of Vienna where she is a powerful part of her local church there. Thank you Anna for coming to join us.
